π150th Anniversary Celebrations

Fredericton Chapter No.2 celebrated its 150th Anniversary on Saturday, 23rd September 2006 at a banquet for companions and their guests. Over 50 companions, their spouses and invited guests were in attendance at the semi-public ceremony.

Dignitaries in attendance included the First Grand Principal – Most Excellent Companion Wayne Rideout, Imm. Past First Principal – Most Excellent Companion Darrell Thurber, Grand Scribe E Most Excellent Companion Bob Johnston, the Most Worshipful the Grand Master – Most Worshipful Brother Wayne H. McKay, MLA for Fredericton-Nashwaksis -Hon T.J. Burke, and Mayor of Oromocto – Her Worship Faye Tidd.

The First Grand Principal presented 50-year Jewels to Companions Kenneth A. Fraser, A. Clair MacMillan and Basil A. Messer for their long and dedicated service to the Fredericton Chapter.

The business proceedings were followed by a sumptuous banquet social gathering.

Most Excellent Companion 1st Grand Principal of Royal Arch Masons of New Brunswick

This year the Chapter will be celebrating its 150th anniversary, having been instituted on 17th December 1856.

 A committee of has been appointed to plan and organize the activities during the year.  The committee members are

The activities would include a banquet for companions and their spouses, preparation of a souvenir book with history,
and a special 150-year pin.  The committee will welcome any suggestions you may have.

With limited funds on hand, the committee will appreciate your support.  Companions wishing to donate
towards the cost of these activities are requested to send in their cheque to Scribe E.

Special note from the First Grand Principal of New Brunswick. I am very proud of the work that has been done by the Officers and Members of Fredericton Chapter. 
This Chapter will be one to contend with in the near future.
