Monckton Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners is moored to Tantramar Council No. 8
Royal and Select Masters of the Eastern Jurisdiction of Canada.
Monckton Lodge was established on Tuesday 26 May 1992 at its Inaugural meeting
in the Moncton Masonic Temple, 115 Queen Street, Moncton New Brunswick.
The Most Puissant Grand Master, Elwood R. Mosher of Nova Scotia, assisted by a
Selected group of of Grand Officers. Installed the first Officers of the Lodge.
The First Worshipful Command Noah of Monckton Lodge was: Most Illustrious
Companion John. H. Lingley.
There were 25 Charter members, from locations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Six have since departed to receive their heavenly reward.
The present membership consists of 48 York Rite Masons. This Lodge has no limitations as to how many members it can hold on board.
To become a member you must be a member in good standing of a Masonic Lodge, a Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, and a Council of Royal and Select Masters.
